The Sherlock Holmes Museum in London is a privately-run museum dedicated to fictional detective Sherlock Holmes, and officially located at Holmes' fictional address, 221B Baker Street. Though Holmes is a fictional character, the museum's building is treated as if it were his real-life residence.

Buckingham Palace is the official residence and workplace of the British monarch. Built in 1705, it gained its status as the primary royal residence in 1837, under Queen Victoria, and its last major remodel was after the Second World War, when parts of the complex were hit by a German bomb.

The Tower of London is a historic castle founded in 1066 and built in 1078. It served many purposes in its history, most notably as a prison and execution site. Today, it is a UNESCO Heritage Site.

Big Ben is located at the north end of the Palace of Westminster and is the largest four-faced chiming clock in the world and the world's third-tallest free-standing clock tower; it was formerly the largest four-faced clock in the world. It was completed in 1858, built after a fire destroyed the old Palace of Westminster in 1834. It is renowned for its accuracy and reliability, having only one major breakdown in its history, in 1976.

King's Cross Station is a railway station first opened in 1852 that acts as a transfer point between London Underground and National Rail lines, forming one of Britain's largest transportation hubs. In modern times, it is most famous for being the filming location for the Hogwarts Express' Platform 9¾ in the Harry Potter films. The station was originally intended to be the London hub of the Great Northern Railway. The main part of the station from 1852 is still being used today.
